Brought a second hand car at KAR, through Jack and can’t be happier.(my first Mercedes) Drives like a dream. I am amazed at the number of Organizations I have completed Case Studies for, that have Mission Statements and other highly inspiring documents on their walls. Unfortunately most being demonstrated to be an empty gesture. Becaise few, if anyone in the Company, walk their impressive talk. In Modern Business, it’s not enough to be Confident. We need to be Competent in our field as well. Exceptionally Competent, if we want to stand out from the Crowd. And most Companies are simply not willing to put in the effort to attain that level of skill. But even then something can be missing. IQ (intelligence and skillset) is admirable, but Companies that will excel, and stay around long enough to make a real difference in the Lives of their Customers, need an extra dimension to their Business. That difference is EQ or ‘Emotional Quotient’, the wave of the future. The willingness and ability to really ‘connect’ with the Customer emotionally. And that is based on the simple Truth that the Customer really ‘owns’ the Business and keeps everyone employed. Each of them knows at least 200 people, and after an interaction with a very satisfied or very dissatisfied Customer, many of them will get to hear about the Encounter. Multiple times KAR don’t simply understand this intellectually. They embody it. They Live it. It’s simply the way they ‘do Business’ Not surprisingly, I have trusted Max Awad for years, and turned to him for my latest purchase. I also had no hesitation in referring 2 friends. Not only because of his superior expertise as a Mechanic, but because I knew that my friends would be treated with respect and genuine friendliness.
